Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj, affectionately known as Shri Maharaj Ji, was bestowed with the title 'Jagadguruttam' at the young age of 34 by the scholars of Kashi Vidvat Parishat Varanasi in 1957. He was also honored with various titles such as 'Bhaktiyog Ras Avatar,' signifying the Divine Descension of Devotional Bliss.
